On this show, I enjoyed speaking with Matthias Schmitt, an avid solar eclipse chaser and astronomy educator. Matthias has been involved in astronomy outreach for over ten years, teaching kids and adults about the wonders of space!

Matthias had a thriving career in financial services, then was the Executive Producer of the Space Racers TV show.  But, after a solar eclipse, he decided to chase the stars and complete his graduate certificate in astronomy from Swinburne University. 

He is working on his Master of Science in Astronomy, works for the National Park Service, and runs a thriving Stargazing company near Zion, Utah.

On this show, Matthias offers his insightful perspective on how the stars connect us to the mysteries of the Cosmos, galaxies millions of light years away, and our celestial neighborhood. But more importantly, how they connect us nearby, to each other, by opening up opportunities to transform our perceptions about all human beings. Thank you for listening!
