On this Mindfulness Podcast, we speak with Manesh Grin, who is doing his postdoc at McGill University and working at The Montreal Neurological Institute.

He is the Chief Research Officer at EntheoTech Bioscience, a Canadian psychedelic bioscience company focusing on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, natural psilocybin formulation development, and psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy clinical trials.

His research focuses on the so-called 'default-mode network' and the brain mechanisms underlying psychedelic drugs, as revealed by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Grin has been the lead or co-author of over a dozen peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters on topics including psychedelics, meditation, daydreaming, and the default-mode network.

He collaborates closely with leading psychedelic researchers such as Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris and will be joining Dr. Carhart-Harris at UCSF as a postdoc in August 2023.
